The election of Nixon over JFK in 1960

The election of 1960 was an election in which women were alllowed to vote for. Statistics show that JFK's highly populated votes were majorly from women. However, if women were not granted the right to vote until 1970, Nixon would have won the 1960 election.

After the death of Alice Paul and Lucy Burns, Legislation had a chance to modify the 19th amendment. There were little to no women protesting the streets because they were afraid of what might happen if they rebelled against the law. However, after the government failed to pass the 19th amendment in 1920, women revolted and cause a crazy uprise, resulting in almost 100 deaths caused by  the police "enforcing" the law.

Shirley Chisholm steps up to the plate and pressures America for women's voting rights. Then,  runs for NY legislature.

Years later after the 19th amendment (modified version) was not pass and the mass murder of 100 women, American women sought for a leader to take charge. It was Shirley Chisholm who took charge in leading mass rallies, speaking of equal rights for all. Finally, in the year 1970, Women were granted the right to vote.
